We’re now less than a week away from what is expected to be the official announcement of the iPhone 17 Pro, and new leaks continue to come. The latest claims to have more information about the iPhone’s battery, display, and more.
The Weibo leaker Instant Digital, via MacRumors, has shared that the new iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will both have a higher brightness than the previous models.
The iPhone 16 Pro models have a brightness of 1,000 nits with a maximum peak brightness of 2,000 nits when needed.
The same report also claims that the new vapor chamber cooling solution will help the new iPhones to stay cooler, allowing them to run at full tilt for longer. That should help the performance of games, for example.
Despite that performance, the leaker claims that the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max will have better battery life than any previous iPhone. It’s likely that the improved efficiency of the new A19 Pro chip could help here.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max at an event that is already confirmed for September 9. We can expect to learn more about what these phones have to offer then. It’s also likely that more leaks will arrive between now and the big day, too.
