ViewSonic VG2756V 2K Conferencing Monitor for business users

The 27-inch ViewSonic VG2756V 2K comes with an IPS Monitor with a QHD resolution with a 65Hz refresh monitor for a smooth and clean view of the contents. It supports 16.7 million colors with 350 nits of brightness, a 1,000:1 contrast ratio, 5 ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG), and wide viewing angles of 178 degrees, ensuring that the visuals remain consistent and vivid from any position.

The ViewSonic 2K Monitor comes with some niche features that come in handy for the users such as built-in video conferencing capabilities and a docking station to charge the laptop. The 5W Dual 2W speakers provide you with a 2-way AI-enhanced audio experience for eliminating the background noise during the call.

Connectivity options are plentiful, with HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB Type-A and C ports available for connecting various devices such as laptops, desktops, etc.

    Design & Connectivity – ViewSonic VG2756V-2K

In terms of physical dimensions, ViewSonic VG2756V-2K has a size of 613 x 423.38~533.38 x 217 mm in width x height x depth. It weighs 8.4 kg with the stand included and 11.5kg in gross weight. With the dimensions, the ViewSonic monitor is not very large. It reminded us of the previously reviewed ViewSonic VG2740V 27, it has some similar design language.

The ViewSonic VG2756V 2K comes with a 27-inch IPS Panel with QHD resolution made especially for business users with a 60Hz refresh rate, which is optimum for business users. The anti-glare display has a typical brightness of 350 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The ViewSonic 27-inch monitor has a viewing angle of 178 degrees vertical or horizontal enabling great viewing angles.

ViewSonic 2K monitor has plenty of connectivity options such as HDMI 1.4, Display Port, RJ45 port, USB-Type C and Type-A ports. On the left side of the monitor, a USB Type-A is placed along with a 3.5mm audio jack.

On the top, to power the video calls a 5MP Full HD Camera with 5-degree tilting and it is placed with pop-up functionality keeping the privacy factor in mind. Also, Dual 5Watts built-in speakers are also a great addition for calls and multimedia purposes. It also sports LED Fill lights as well which come in handy in low-light conditions.

In the front, it comes with a control hub of Volume Controls, a microphone mute, Audio Enhancement buttons, and a power button as well.

    Performance – ViewSonic VG2756V-2K

The 27-inch QHD IPS monitor is made primarily for business users, it does not have any shiny parts which makes it stand apart. Its pop-up camera and the AI-powered Audio features are the 2 main features, which are attractive. It supports almost all major Video conferencing applications including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet to name a few.

The ViewSonic VG2756V-2K can also work as a docking station as well. You can connect it to your laptop using a USB-C cable and then plug an RJ45 Ethernet cable in the rear side of the monitor along with the Keyboard and Mouse. With that one USB-C cable, the monitor gives you access to the internet and the accessories you want to use with your laptop which gives an overall clean look to your desk. It also provides you with 90W power delivery for charging your laptop.

The 2560 x 1440 QHD IPS LCD produces decent colors and image quality is optimum for the business setup. The 5W built-in speakers are not great, but it does its job decent.

The Viewsonic video conferencing monitor did not require any installation, as all the features like Audio and Webcam were Plug and play.

You can adjust the settings of the ViewSonic VG2756V-2K using an onscreen menu you navigate with the buttons in the bottom-right corner of the display. A joystick button could have been a better choice for the monitor for a better user experience.

    Conclusion

ViewSonic VG2756V 2K Video Conferencing Monitor is well suited for Home Office, and Corporate Offices. The built-in 5MP camera’s video quality is not significantly better than other similar monitors but the built-in LED lights are an advantage in rooms with low light. Microphone quality and speaker quality hold up well, too, and the monitor has a wide range of features.

The Viewsonic VG2756V-2K offers a refresh rate of 60Hz and doesn’t include support for Adaptive Sync. That’s not unusual for an office monitor but bad news for gamers who like to use it as a multi-purpose monitor. It is built to make home office productivity easier and more comfortable—and, in that, it succeeds.
