BANGKOK :Thailand’s manufacturing production index rose 2.17 per cent in April from a year earlier, the industry ministry said on Friday, beating analysts’ expectations.
The figure compared with a forecast year-on-year fall of 2.95 per cent for April in a Reuters poll, and followed an annual drop of 0.66 per cent in March.
