Pope Francis, the 266th pope of Vatican and the first Latin America, tragically passed away on the Easter Monday, April 21, 2025, at the age of 88. He died at 7:35 AM at his residence in Vatican’s Casa Santa Marta, due to stroke that led him in a coma and further heart failure. Despite these many critical health issues, he continued to fulfill pope’s duty, and as per the tradition he delivered his Easter Sunday speech of “urbi-et-orbi” on the day April 20, 2025.
