Oura has launched the Oura Ring 4 Ceramic in Australia and New Zealand, bringing four new colour options to the region alongside expanded retail availability.
The Oura Ring 4 Ceramic is constructed from high-performance zirconia ceramic and comes in Tide, Petal, Cloud, and Midnight. This material, commonly used in jewellery, is valued for its resilience, lightness, and skin compatibility. The ring maintains the company’s usual health-tracking technology while presenting a more polished design and additional ways for customers to match their personal style.
Oura stated that the expansion coincides with the availability of the Oura Ring 4 and the new ceramic models at Harvey Norman and Noel Leeming outlets, increasing the product’s local presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
Ceramic design
According to Oura, the ceramic material is shaped and finished with a traditional firing process to strengthen the ring and create a smooth surface. The four new colours were selected to reflect global ceramic traditions and suit a variety of skin tones and tastes, aiming to combine aesthetic appeal with the device’s health tracking features. Importantly, the colour is incorporated into the ceramic itself, meaning it is designed not to fade over time as might happen with coatings or paints.
Miklu Silvanto, Chief Design Officer at Oura, said,
“Oura Ring sits at the intersection of technology, health, jewellery, fashion, and industrial design. Ceramic is a remarkable material that gives us the freedom to explore form, colour, and texture in a way that feels deeply personal. By merging tradition with innovation and pairing it with the most advanced technology, we’ve created a ring that is as sophisticated in its design as it is in function-refined, enduring, and distinctive. Our goal is to make this wearable technology as beautiful and expressive as the jewellery we cherish.”
Each Oura Ring 4 Ceramic is supplied with a Ceramic Polishing Pad, intended to help care for the ring by removing marks from contact with softer metals such as those found in dumbbells or cookware.
Additional integration options
Oura also announced that customers in Australia and New Zealand will be able to connect and switch between multiple Oura Ring 4 devices on the same account. This will support users who wish to change rings to suit different activities or outfits while maintaining continuous health tracking. Support for this feature will become available on iOS from 1 October 2025 and on Android from 20 October 2025.
Tom Hale, Chief Executive Officer at Oura, commented,
“At ŌURA, we believe that health is deeply personal and intricately woven into everyday life. Today’s announcement marks a significant leap forward in empowering our members to take charge of their well-being. The refined elegance and resilience of the Ceramic Collection with the freedom to switch rings to match personal style contributes to a truly individualised experience.”
