Mexico defeated Saudi Arabia 2-0 in the CONCACAF Gold Cup quarterfinals on Saturday to secure a spot into the tournament’s final four.
El Tri had a goal from Alexis Vega and created an own-goal to break down a tough Saudi side who have already qualified for the 2026 World Cup.
As one of the tournament’s co-favorites, Mexico will now face Honduras in the Gold Cup semifinals next Wednesday at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California (FS1, 9 p.m. ET).
