With Apple TV+’s F1 movie starring Brad Pitt set to premiere in theaters on June 27, the link between Apple and Formula 1 continues to strengthen.
And that’s been proven yet further after British racing driver Lewis Hamilton was spotted at Apple Park, the company’s Cupertino HQ.
The shot of Hamilton talking to Apple CEO Tim Cook was shared on the X social network and while it isn’t yet clear what the meeting was about, it isn’t all that unusual for Apple and Hamilton to be spoken about in the same breath.
The racer has a producing credit on the F1 movie, while a documentary all about Hamilton and his career was announced in 2022 but has yet to debut.
Apple TV+ announced today that it has landed a new feature documentary about the groundbreaking life and career of seven-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton, who has broken both records and barriers to become one of the greatest Formula One drivers in history. The documentary will feature full access to Hamilton and his team, on and off the track, and an all-star cast of guest interviews.

One thing that we can be pretty sure about is that Hamilton wasn’t at Apple Park to put the Apple Car through its paces. The autonomous electric vehicle, dubbed Project Titan, is officially over after years of Apple trying to bring it to fruition.
