Google will publish its pixel 10 this summer. Now several sources confirm a specific date for the presentation and sale of the flagship smartphone. That should come with a new chip, new camera and more AI.
Google Pixel 10 will probably come in August
The rumor mill around Google’s next flagship smartphone picks up speed. After there were only first speculations about an early start of the Pixel 10, this now seems to be confirmed. Two -independent sources call the 13th August 2025 as an official presentation date for Pixel 10. Google would thus present its new devices on the exact same date as with Pixel 9 in the previous year.
According to the available information, the pre -orders should start directly on the day of the announcement. The actual delivery and the official start of sales of the devices should then take place a week later, on August 20. Google thus seems to continue the path taken last year and bring its flagship models to the market much earlier than in the past. Before Pixel 9, the company always presented its new smartphones in October.
TSMC instead of Samsung
The biggest innovation of the Pixel 10 is likely to be under the hood. How Android headlines reports, Google uses the tensor G5 for the first time on a completely self -developed chip that is no longer manufactured by Samsung, but by the Taiwanese manufacturer TSMC. This change could fix the known problems of earlier tensor chips with overheating and energy efficiency.
The new processor is to be manufactured in the progressive 3NM process and thus promises better performance with less power consumption. The camera in particular should benefit from the new chip architecture. The tensor G5 should enable 4K video recordings with 60 FPS and HDR-an upgrade compared to the previous 30 FPS in HDR videos.
Hardly any design changes
The Pixel 10 series is expected to consist of four models: the Pixel 10, the Pixel 10 Pro, the larger Pixel 10 Pro XL and the foldable pixel 10 Pro FOLD. Visually, the new devices will hardly differ from their predecessors. Leaked CAD renderings show an almost identical design with the characteristic camera battery on the back. However, there could be an interesting innovation in the basic model.
This is to be equipped for the first time with a telekamera that was previously reserved for the Pro models. This would significantly upgrade Google its entry variant and reduce the distance to the more expensive models. However, Samsung saves the other cameras. Some of them even get a downgrade.
New AI features for videos and photos
Of course, artificial intelligence will also play a central role in the Pixel 10. Various leaks indicate new AI features, including “Video Generative ML”, which is intended to enable AI-based video editing. Features such as “Sketch to Image” and “Magic Mirror” are also expected, which could expand the creative potential of the smartphone. The improved TPU (Tensor Processing Unit) in the new CHIP should make these AI functions more efficient and more efficient. Pixel superfans get early insight
