BETHESDA, Md., June 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — On May 31, Brave Healer Productions held a 100th Book Celebration, Networking and Giveback Event, a virtual eight-hour day of inspiration and tactical strategies for more than 100 authors around the globe, according to Laura Di Franco, the publishing company’s CEO.

The ticketed event showcased the company’s 100 book titles it has published since its inception in 2016. It brought together visionary experts in PR, business-building, speaking, time management, life coaching, writing, publishing, and finance to educate attendees.

Run by Linda Cain of Blu Diamond Events, the remotely held celebration also supported Brave Healer’s nonprofit partner, The InkWell, which among other things, serves youth with therapeutic writing programs. “Miss Kiane” Thomas, founder of The InkWell, performed an inspiring poem during the well-received event.

“You [Brave Healer Productions] are the best at running an online event that I’ve ever seen,” said Randy Molland, a speaker and sponsor of the event and founder of Go Big to Give Big. Added author and attendee Janette Stuart, who got up at 4:30 a.m. to get camera-ready for the event, “I was only planning on staying a short time, but it was so wonderful I ended up staying all day.” Another attendee said, “This was a colossal over-deliver.”

For Di Franco the remote event was the perfect complement to the publishing company’s mission. “We, as a community, have a mission to help the world experience what’s possible through every brave word, book, and program we provide. We also intend to support the thriving business behind every author we serve. We go farther together. I’m so grateful for this community.”

The company has three imprints: Brave Healer Productions, Brave Business Books and Brave Kids Books. In addition, it offers many programs that support its authors well beyond the book launch. Programs include The Brave Healer Transformation School online learning platform, the Writer’s Circle, and the Power Hour, free five-person networking Zoom sessions. There are also special guest expert workshops held throughout the year.

Giving back is also important for Di Franco’s company who serves on the board for The InkWell and partners with them to support their mission through events like the 100th Book celebration, and their signature poetry anthology, 100 Poems & Possibilities for Healing.

“When we go big in the world, we can give back generously and make a bigger mark. How we do this [success] is together. Moving from a competition mindset to a collaborative mindset is a game-changer for any business. It’s what we should strive for to ensure a greater impact on the world,” said Di Franco.

Brave Healer Productions plans to publish several more expert collaborative, business-building books in 2025 and beyond and many powerful solo-authored business and kids’ books. In November, it plans a new DREAM retreat that will feature a bevy of visionaries whose expertise can help their authors.

Di Franco offered advice to authors seeking the right publisher. “We understand that writing, publishing, launching, and promoting your book (and yourself and your business) is a healing and self-development journey,” says Di Franco, who spent 30 years as a holistic physical therapist. “Choose a publisher who gets it, gets you, and can hold a sacred space for this process. This legacy-leaving badassery is big-potatoes stuff to us.”
