MLB fans who witnessed the 18-inning epic that was the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Game 3 win over the Toronto Blue Jays will never forget what they saw. And, while it seems nearly impossible to fathom anything that can top that game, Game 4 has a chance to for mainly one reason:
Against Milwaukee, Ohtani made history as the first player to strike out 10 batters and record three home runs in a single game. Which begs the question: what will the unicorn do for a follow-up Tuesday night?
Of course, the Blue Jays will do all they can to avenge last night’s narrow loss in a battle between two teams who will have to dig deep and leave it all on the field again hours after the third-longest game in MLB history.
