(Bangkok) – The Myanmar military junta’s years of unlawful attacks on healthcare facilities and health workers have severely hindered the emergency response to the devastating earthquake on March 28, 2025, Human Rights Watch and Physicians for Human Rights said today. DES MOINES, Iowa — Iowa’s governor on Friday sued the Des Moines Register over the newspaper’s open records request, asking the court to validate her office’s withholding of certain emails she claims are protected. Salt Lake County Council members will consider the proposal on Tuesday. The area under consideration is just east of the Delta Center.
