With more than two decades of progressive healthcare leadership experience, Barber has guided operations at major academic and specialty medical centers. Most recently, she served as Director of Operations at Gastro MD (2021–2025), where she advanced clinical efficiency and positioned the practice for sustainable growth. Her previous leadership roles include overseeing cardiology and gastroenterology divisions at the University of South Florida, as well as administrative positions at Albany Medical Center and Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.
