The 2025 NBA Draft has officially concluded, with 59 rookies selected across two rounds.
Cooper Flagg, the overwhelming favorite leading up to the draft, was no surprise as the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks.
Oddsmakers also see Flagg as the early frontrunner for Rookie of the Year, giving him -185 odds.
Even though the Duke superstar is the odds-on favorite in this spot, you never know what could happen over the course of a season.
Stephon Castle won the award most recently after opening third on the board at around +650. Alex Sarr opened as the favorite.
Will Flagg live up to the hype next season?

What are the expectations for Cooper Flagg in Dallas?

Cooper Flagg dazzled as a Blue Devil while at Duke. He averaged 18.9 points, 7.5 boards and 4.1 assists per game.
According to head coach Jason Kidd, the forward should be involved in Dallas’ offense.
“He can handle the ball,” Kidd said. “As we go forward this summer and throughout the season, it’s trying to get the ball in his hands as much as possible so he can become comfortable running our offense.”
The next player on the board is the No. 2 overall pick by the San Antonio Spurs, Dylan Harper at +900. Harper averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game last season, shooting 48.4% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range over 29 games.
Like Flagg, Harper could come off the bench next season as the Spurs aim to end their six-year playoff drought.
“I don’t think I feel no pressure [to win ROY], but I definitely want to keep that going,” Harper said during his introductory news conference. “That’s definitely a goal of mine. Probably my biggest goal is just getting better every day, taking it day by day, step by step, and just learning from everyone I can.”
Rounding out the top three is Ace Bailey, the No. 5 overall pick by the Utah Jazz, at +950.
Bailey averaged 17.6 points and 7.2 rebounds in his sole season with the Scarlet Knights and is ready to get to work in Utah.
“I got great energy,” Bailey said during his introductory news conference. “I can do everything from rebounding to defense to scoring to passing. So I can say I can bring it a lot in different ways.”
