BANGKOK :Thailand’s manufacturing production index fell 4.19 per cent in August from a year earlier, the industry ministry said on Tuesday, weaker than analysts’ expectations.
The figure compared with a forecast 2.0 per cent year-on-year decline of 2.0 per cent in a Reuters poll, and followed an annual drop of 3.98 per cent in July.
