The number of planned protests suggests that the demonstrations that began last Friday in Los Angeles are likely to keep expanding to new cities. Activists in many cities are planning protests for Saturday as part of the “No Kings” movement, which opposes the Trump administration. That is also the day of a planned military parade in Washington to celebrate the Army’s 250th birthday.
