Neha’s journey began with humble roots. After completing her Master’s in Chemistry, she moved to Bangalore and later transitioned into medical transcription. However, her real test came when she relocated to the UK. Struggling with English, she took small jobs, gradually improving her fluency. Her breakthrough came when she joined AXA UK PLC as a customer service representative. Despite initial struggles, she outperformed her peers and earned a promotion. But Neha had bigger dreams. She pursued the ISTQB Foundation certification, aced her interview, and entered the tech world as a Junior QA. Within six months, she was promoted to Team Lead, eventually rising to Senior QA Manager and Head of Compliance Tech.
Motherhood Against All Odds
Neha’s journey was equally challenging. After fertility struggles and multiple IVF attempts, she and her husband chose adoption, bringing home their daughter, Vini, from India at just one year old. The adoption process was gruelling, but today, Vini is a vibrant 9-year-old recently diagnosed with ADHD, requiring constant care and therapy.
